Jerry Landers thought he simply was going to work as a part-time night-shift residential coach in the summer of 1993. But once he got involved in the challenging and gratifying work of mental health care and started helping residential patients with their recovery from mental illnesses, he signed on for a full-time job. Working his way up through several positions over the last 21plus years, he has held various leadership positions across several organizations and was instrumental in bringing medical care to several mental health clinics in Indiana. Jerry is also a Veteran and was the first advocate for InteCare to apply for it’s current VA grant to serve Veterans with housing challenges. He has been a long-standing Board Member and friend to InteCare over his 21 year tenure.
