InteCare is an administrative service organization that arranges for, monitors, and manages the provision of behavioral health services on behalf of its clients.  Such administrative activities include, but are not limited to:

• Contracting a Network of Behavioral Health Providers

• Credentialing (verifiying credentials) of the Behavioral Health Network

• Monitoring the Quality of Services, such as Access and Case Outcomes

• Managing the Finances that Support Behavioral Health Programs on Behalf of Providers

• Assisting Providers in Addressing Program Problems Such as Claims Payment Delays or Managing Referral Volume

• Serving as the Lead Contractor for Payors (e.g. HMOs, Insurance Companies, the State of Indiana, etc.) on Behalf of All Providers in the Network

• Managing Provider Data for Payors to Insure Referral and Payment Accuracy

• Serving as Lead Organization in Building Grant-Funded Housing for Persons with Serious Mental Illness
